Why all these "no's"? November 15, 2004: my position as Administrative Director for a non-profit was terminated due to budget constraints. December 16, 2004: my husband, Duane, dies in the car while I'm driving us home from Sedona to Tucson -- and not just in a place where help was readily available, but in the middle of the most desolate stretch of interstate. So those two events were the catalyst for some powerful changes in my life! Message: No matter how disastrous life may get, you CAN move ahead and return to a joyful life! or as Gracie Allen said, "Never put a period where God has put a comma." We've all experienced pain, loss, change, challenge and other nasty "stuff" in our lives. How do you survive that pain? (sit back and wait for it to go away?) And how do you move forward with your life? (one step at a time or by leaps and bounds?) Most importantly, how do you take the pain and move beyond it to a more joyful life? For the majority of us, it's really hard to take that pain, loss, change and challenge and convert it to a blessing. We often remain stuck in the midst of the pain and sadness regardless of what we really desire. So how do we change that? We shift our perspectives! Shifting perspectives allows us to find our joy again! Are you ready to make that shift? Let's see! First let's look at what's in it for you when you do?
So, are you ready to shift your perspectives? If you want any or all of the benefits listed above, then YES YOU ARE! You can email me at barb@thelifementor.com |
